AVL informs: Opening hours of AVL at the turn of the year

Between the holidays around Christmas and New Year, slightly different opening hours apply for the AVL sites. All sites will be closed on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and the public holidays.

The second-hand department store Warenwandel in Ludwigsburg will remain closed from December 22 to 29, 2025.

The Burghof landfill (Vaihingen/Enz-Horrheim) as well as the Am Froschgraben landfill (Schwieberdingen) and the building materials yard there will be closed from Saturday, December 20, 2025, up to and including Tuesday, January 6, 2026. The last delivery day this year is December 19, 2025.

The Burghof Plus recycling center in Vaihingen/Enz and the other AVL recycling centers will be closed on Saturday, December 27, 2025, and Monday, January 5, 2026. AVL is offering the following additional opening hours instead: The Wasserturm recycling center in Kornwestheim and the Lauffener Feld recycling center in Bönnigheim will be open on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, and Tuesday, December 30, 2025. On Saturday, January 3, 2026, all recycling centers will remain open until 4 pm. The Lehenfeld Plus recycling center in Asperg will also open on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

The Warenwandel used goods department store in Ludwigsburg is taking a Christmas break and will be closed from Monday, December 22, 2025, up to and including Monday, December 29, 2025. On Saturday, January 3, 2026, Warenwandel will be open until 4 pm.
