Corona new infection figures in the district are developing positively: District Office offices and AVL ServiceCenter reopen with restrictions from 1 July - Recommendation: Continue to make appointments in advance - Four areas still by appointment only

Now that the number of new coronavirus infections in the district has developed positively, the District Office and the ServiceCenter of Abfallverwertungsgesellschaft des Landkreises Ludwigsburg (AVL) will reopen for customer traffic from Thursday, 1 July. As the health and protection of customers and employees is the top priority for the District Office and AVL, the reopening will not be a return to "normal operations" before the coronavirus pandemic, but will be associated with some restrictions: Despite the reopening, the District Office and AVL strongly recommend that all customers continue to make appointments in advance. This is essentially a return to the situation before the start of the second lockdown in mid-December 2020. The district of Ludwigsburg has agreed with its neighboring districts on July 1 as the uniform date for opening the district offices.

A modern building complex with three stories features a welcoming entrance surrounded by greenery and landscaped areas. The path leading up to the entrance is lined with trees and bushes, creating an inviting atmosphere. A colorful mural is visible on the left side.

From July 1, there will no longer be any admission checks (presentation of the appointment as a prerequisite for access) by the security service.

Customers and employees are still required to wear medical face masks inside the office buildings.

The general opening hours of the district administration are

Monday - Friday: 08:30 - 12:00

Monday:13:30 - 15:30

Thursday: 13:30 - 18:00

Exceptions to the general opening hours are those departments and parts of the business where uncontrolled opening would lead to large crowds of people. The following areas will therefore continue to operate by appointment only:

    • Foreigners' Registration Office / Naturalization Office (exception: Service Point for urgent matters without an appointment)
    • Vehicle registration and driving license office
    • Asylum seeker service (exception: Service Point without appointment)
    • Job center

In addition to the general opening hours, there are special office hours for the specialist departments, which are listed separately on the homepage at https://www.landkreis-ludwigsburg.de/de/landratsamt-landkreis/landratsamt/oeffnungszeiten/. These already applied before the coronavirus pandemic.

The canteen and kiosk in the Ludwigsburg district building will remain closed to external visitors.

The AVL ServiceCenter will also reopen. The opening hours of the AVL ServiceCenter correspond to the general opening hours of the district administration. The AVL asks you to make an appointment in advance by e-mail or telephone (telephone times at https://www.avl-ludwigsburg.de/privatkunden/service/servicecenter-abfall/ on the Internet).
