Corona crisis: District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier appeals to the people in the district: "Please adhere to the safety regulations over Easter" - Head of the district administration thanks for great commitment

District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier appeals to the population to adhere to the safety regulations imposed by the state government, especially over the Easter weekend. "The overarching goal is crucial: the spread of the coronavirus must be slowed down. We must give our healthcare system the time it needs to comprehensively protect the health of those affected - so that we can avoid the catastrophic conditions that we are seeing on a daily basis in other countries." The number of cases has developed better than initially feared. This is an encouraging development, says District Administrator Allgaier.

However, it is still too early to give the all-clear. "I expressly ask you to continue to comply with the measures - even if it is particularly difficult over the Easter holidays. Please stay at home as much as possible. If you go out into nature, please do not do so in groups and keep your distance. And as important as ever: please follow the recommendations on hand hygiene and coughing and sneezing etiquette," appeals Allgaier.

District Administrator Allgaier would like to thank all citizens in the district for their help in containing the spread of the coronavirus: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, dear citizens, for all your acceptance and compliance with the guidelines. I would also like to thank you for your extensive voluntary and neighborly help. There is great solidarity here in the district, in the towns and municipalities. The cohesion, the solidarity, it all gives me courage and confidence that we will overcome the crisis together," said District Administrator Allgaier.
