Corona crisis: Visit to the contact tracing team District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier: "You are doing a good job - we are very grateful for your commitment"

The contact tracing team at the district administration's health department currently has a total of around 120 employees. District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier and Head of the Main Office Andreas Eschbach visited the contact tracing team on Monday afternoon (26.10.20) to find out about their work in Ludwigsburg-Schlößlesfeld and Ludwigsburg-Pflugfelden and to thank them.

In an office setting, a woman sits at a desk with a computer, engaged in a discussion. Two men, one in military attire and the other in a suit, observe the conversation while wearing masks. A third man stands nearby, also in a suit, listening attentively.

Addressing the team members, District Administrator Allgaier said: "You are doing a great job - we are very grateful for your commitment to contact tracing seven days a week. With the sharp rise in the number of new infections, our need for staff in the contact tracing team is also constantly increasing." More than 60 employees have already been seconded from the district office itself for the task of contact tracing. In addition, around 40 other employees have been hired for this task. In addition, 15 soldiers from the German Armed Forces have been reinforcing the contact tracing team for a good week now. "We will second further employees to the team and also request more Bundeswehr soldiers," announced Allgaier.
