Register free of charge until September 10: Online lecture "Charging made easy - enabling e-mobility at home"

More and more people are switching to electric cars, including in the district of Ludwigsburg. In addition to almost 9,000 plug-in hybrid cars, the number of battery-electric cars in the district has risen from 11,403 to 13,746 within a year (as of 01.04.2025). With this growth of 20.55 percent, the need for charging facilities is also increasing. In order to support citizens with practical information, the Ludwigsburg District Office and the Schiller Adult Education Center are hosting a free online event on September 17, 2025 from 18:00 to 19:30.

Registrations for the online lecture are still possible until September 10.

The presentation provides answers on how electricity from your own photovoltaic system can be used for your electric car and what options there are for setting up charging infrastructure in apartment buildings. It is aimed at tenants, owners and property managers and shows how electromobility can also become a reality at home. Afterwards, participants can put their questions directly to the expert.

The speaker will be Maik Hanken, economist and manager for federal-state-municipality coordination at the National Centre for Charging Infrastructure in Berlin.

Registrations are still possible until September 10 at www.schiller-vhs.de, by email to info[at]schiller-vhs.de and by telephone on 07141 144 2666.
