Visit from the district of Dachau to Ludwigsburg district hall: from asylum to integration and climate protection

District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier and the heads of the district administration welcomed a delegation from the Bavarian district of Dachau to the district building on Thursday (April 11) for an exchange of ideas. The delegation consisted of Dachau District Administrator Stefan Löwl with several heads of department and 13 mayors from the district of Dachau. The visit came about because District Administrator Löwl comes from Bietigheim-Bissingen.

The visitors signed the district's guest book. District Administrator Allgaier then presented the district of Ludwigsburg, its organizational structure and special features. This was followed by a lively exchange on very different topics such as asylum, integration, district finances, clinics and climate protection.

District councillors are concerned about the increasing transfer of tasks to municipal level

Both district councillors agreed that they were concerned about the increasing transfer of tasks to the municipal level and the rising financial burden in public transport, refugee accommodation and social services. Löwl and Allgaier are calling on the federal government to uphold the principle of connectivity, i.e. the principle that those who order also pay.

The district of Dachau has around 158,000 inhabitants

The district of Dachau is located in western Upper Bavaria, north of Munich. It has around 158,000 inhabitants and an area of just under 580 square kilometers. The district town is the large district town of Dachau with around 48,300 inhabitants.
