In the second-hand department store, beautiful, well-preserved and functional used items change hands. Instead of ending up in the bin in good condition, the items end up in the Warenwandel salesroom and ultimately in new hands. Together with the "bringers" of the second-hand goods, AVL prevents items that are still in good working order from ending up in the bin. This saves resources and protects the environment. All electrical appliances delivered are tested for safety and functionality in accordance with the DIN-VDE standard. Customers can rely on this. Anything that is no longer fit for use is taken to one of the recycling centers. The used goods store Warenwandel (Maybachstr. 10, 71634 Ludwigsburg) has the following opening hours: Tuesday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (selling and receiving), Wednesday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (selling only), Thursday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (selling and receiving), Friday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (selling and receiving) and Saturday: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (selling and receiving).
Bulky items can be collected
Large items such as closets and large electrical appliances that are in good condition, saleable, clean and in working order can be collected by a forwarding agent. If you are interested, please call 07141 7025859 and AVL will send you a non-binding offer for collection. Interested parties can then take their time to decide whether to accept it. Once payment has been received, the items will be collected by a haulage company within 21 days and taken to Warenwandel. The forwarding agent will arrange a collection date with the customer. In the case of large items, dismantling is also possible for a small fee.
Passing on items sustainably with the give-away market
The give-away market for the Ludwigsburg district is another way of avoiding waste by passing on items sustainably. The service is provided by www.abfallberatung.de. The use of the AVL Service+ app is recommended for the site.
There are various disposal options for items that are damaged or no longer functional: They can be placed with bulky waste, which is collected twice per calendar year in the combination of large old electrical appliances / scrap metal and once in the combination of furniture wood (dismantled) / residual bulky waste. Bulky waste can be registered online using the online form on the AVL website www.avl-ludwigsburg.de or by calling the AVL Service Center on 07141 144-2828.
