Café Auszeit takes place in the common room of the senior citizens' residential complex, Herrmannstraße 12-14, in Kornwestheim.

The pilot project is funded by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Social Affairs as part of the Care 2023 innovation program. The Protestant University of Applied Sciences Ludwigsburg is supporting and evaluating the project.
