Exhibition shows award-winning steep slope projects and photo competition at the Ludwigsburg district hall

"And the winner is ..." - This is the motto under which the Ludwigsburg District Office is presenting an exhibition as part of the "Regional Window" exhibition series on the campaigns and awards of the umbrella brand "Echt. Beautiful. Quirky. - Die Steillagen im Landkreis Ludwigsburg" from the years 2024 and 2025. Visitors can find out more about the photo competition "echt.schön.schräg. - goes around the world" photo competition and about the steep slope app, which was awarded the prestigious Baden-Württemberg Wine Tourism Prize in 2024.

Winning images from the Echt Schoen Schraeg 2024 photo competition

On the occasion of the UEFA EURO 2024, the district of Ludwigsburg called for a creative photo competition. The task: an unusual photo with the green fabric bag of the umbrella brand "Echt.Schön.Schräg." - taken at a favorite place, on vacation or during special activities. By the end of 2024, 13 original entries had been submitted. An expert jury selected the three winning photos.

The award ceremony took place in 2025. The unanimous conclusion of the participants: The competition not only produced great pictures, but also a lot of joy and enthusiasm. All the photos submitted can now be admired for the first time in the Regional Window.

Awardedthe Baden-Württemberg 2024 Wine Tourism Prize

Visitors to the exhibition will also receive information about the steep slope app "Echt.Schön.Schräg.", which was awarded the Baden-Württemberg 2024 Wine Tourism Prize. The prize has been awarded since 2012 by Tourismus und Marketing GmbH Baden-Württemberg (TMBW), the Baden and Württemberg Winegrowers' Associations and honors innovative projects that sustainably strengthen wine tourism. The app serves as a personal guide through the diverse leisure and recreational opportunities in the steep slopes, while also providing exciting background information on steep slope viticulture in the region.

Regional Window exhibition
