Through the dreamy Leudelsbach valley
Nature lovers can enjoy the winter tranquillity along the Leudelsbach and Enz rivers on this almost 10 km circular trail, watch the birds along the river or discover the many trees and shrubs along the way. This circular trail is also an unforgettable experience when it snows. You can start, for example, at the "Tammer See" parking lot (parking lot in the direction of the Tamm sewage treatment plant). From here, the trail leads along the Leudelsbachtal nature reserve, past rock formations and several educational boards. Hikers should always follow the "blue bar on a white background" hiking signs. After about 3 km, the Leudelsbach flows into the Enz. After the sawmill (canoe rental), the path takes a sharp right up the hill. But the effort and sweat are worth it. Continue following the "blue cross on a white background" signposts, past the Schellenhof farm, through the forest to the "Weinberg-Terrassen am Leudelsbach" viewpoint.
In good weather, there is a fantastic view as far as the Strohgäu. A break is a must with the various panoramic views in all directions. Then it's a short walk through the forest and further downhill to the parking lot and starting point. The recommended adventure time for this winter hike is around three hours. The tour with further details can be found at www.outdooractive.com.
