Start of training at the District Office: 18 trainees start their careers - District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier: The best thing about public administration is the variety of topics

A total of 18 trainees recently started their careers at the district administration office. District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier welcomed the trainees on Wednesday (September 1) and said: "The best thing about public administration is the variety of subjects." Four trainees want to become administrative assistants, five are aiming to become civil servants in the intermediate non-technical administrative service, five have opted for the higher civil service, two want to become surveying technicians and two want to become road wardens.

A group of 20 people stands in a circular formation outdoors on a paved surface. They are diverse in appearance and attire, with some wearing formal clothing and others in casual wear. The scene is set in a green, park-like environment with trees visible in the background.

At the start of training, induction days are held in compliance with hygiene regulations and social distancing rules: The program includes a get-to-know-you session with a joint lunch, a "Segway tour" through Ludwigsburg city centre and an iPad rally as a team-building activity. Georgios Sidiropoulos, head of training, also gave tips for a successful start to working life.

Although the training year has only just begun, the application process for training from 2022 is already underway. Anyone who applies by October 1, 2021, has the chance of a qualified and, above all, exciting apprenticeship at one of the largest training companies in the district. If you have any questions, please contact training manager Georgios Sidiropoulos on 07141 144-42936.
