For the first time, tourist offers on steep slopes along the Enz are also shown
The steep slope app "Echt.Schön.Schräg." has so far included the tourist offerings around the steep slopes of nine towns and municipalities along the Neckar in the district of Ludwigsburg. With the addition of Bietigheim-Bissingen, tourist steep-slope offers along the Enz river are now also included for the first time. "The steep slopes along the Enz have a lot to offer in terms of tourism. We are delighted to now also be represented in the 'Echt.Schön.Schräg.' app and thus be able to make a contribution to the preservation of the steep slopes," says Bietigheim-Bissingen's Lord Mayor Jürgen Kessing.
"Echt.Schön.Schräg." app as a personal guide through the steep slope cultural landscape
The "Echt.Schön.Schräg." app allows users to discover a variety of hiking tours, spectacular viewpoints and regional places to stop for refreshments. Information on viticulture, history, flora and fauna and monument protection is also provided in a clear and entertaining way. With interactive features such as a quiz, augmented reality and the collection of digital experience points, the excursion to the terraced vineyard sites becomes a playful adventure for young and old. The app is available free of charge in the app stores.
The development of the app "Echt. Beautiful. Schräg." app was supported by the Verband Region Stuttgart as part of the "Program for the cofinancing of regional model projects and cooperations in the field of business and tourism". In 2024, it received the Baden-Württemberg Wine Tourism Award.
