Inaugural visit to the partner district of Zwickau - District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier: "The visit served to get to know each other and was very friendly

District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier and Head of the Main Office Andreas Eschbach paid their inaugural visit to the district of Zwickau, Ludwigsburg's partner district, last weekend. They held talks at administrative level with District Administrator Dr. Christoph Scheurer as well as Councillors Angelika Hölzel (First Councillor) and Carsten Michaelis (Second Councillor).

Three men stand in front of an orange Trabant car, marked with the number "1000000." Behind them is a backdrop featuring the German flag. The setting appears to be a modern exhibition space celebrating the car's significance.

The program also included a visit to the Saxon State Exhibition currently taking place in Zwickau, the August Horch Museum at the historic birthplace of Audi and the Sachsenring motorsport circuit. "The visit served to get to know each other and was very friendly," summarizes District Administrator Allgaier.

The partnership between the district of Ludwigsburg and the former district of Chemnitz, which eventually became the current district of Zwickau following the district reforms, began in 1990. From 1990, the district of Ludwigsburg supported the development of the administration in the former districts of Chemnitz, Niesky and Bischofswerda. The district of Zwickau is represented every year with a stand at the Spätlingsmarkt in the Ludwigsburg district hall. In addition, there have been mutual visits, numerous joint events and regular professional exchanges between the Mobile Youth Work (MJA) of the Ludwigsburg district and the youth work of the Zwickau district for many years.
