For Anti-Discrimination Day on October 26, 2022, the cooperation partners of the integration work in the district of Ludwigsburg are called upon to participate with different formats and methodological approaches.
The following further events and campaigns are taking place as part of the Ludwigsburg district's Anti-Discrimination Day
24.10.2022, from 19:00. Forum Migration of the PH Ludwigsburg in cooperation with the Integration Council of the City of Ludwigsburg (public event)
Panel discussion on the topic of racism in the Literature Café of the PH Ludwigsburg.
Even if racist thoughts or actions are officially considered wrong, we act according to existing patterns in various situations without always being aware of it. Discrimination against "others" is an attitude that, intentionally or unintentionally, determines the way we live together. The current debate about "wokeness" and "cultural appropriation" shows that there is still a long way to go to overcome racist patterns of thought and action.
Anita Omercevic-Gültekin (Integrationsrat Ludwigsburg) and Prof. Anselm Böhmer (PH Ludwigsburg) discuss with Atraa Al-Hashimi and Teame Habtemariam (PHL students), among other things, how much racism there is in us and what we can do to overcome racist thought patterns.
