Anke Kollmar is head of the Helene-Lange-Gymnasium

Anke Kollmar was appointed as the new head of Helene-Lange-Gymnasium. District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier, as chairman of the school association, warmly welcomed the new principal, who was already well known.

A group of 22 people stands together outdoors in front of a building entrance. They are smiling and dressed in a range of formal and casual attire. The setting appears to be a gathering or meeting, with a few festive decorations visible.

Anke Kollmar has been working at Helene-Lange-Gymnasium in Markgröningen for years. "This was my first job after my traineeship in 2005," reports the new principal. For a long time, she was a liaison teacher for the SMV, led the Video-AG, was a class teacher several times and, after completing her contact studies in economics, was employed in the sixth form. After being promoted to senior teacher in 2009, Anke Kollmar was responsible for the area of "Careers guidance at grammar schools" until 2019.

Since 2019, Anke Kollmar has been Deputy Headmistress at Helene-Lange-Gymnasium in Markgröningen and has been acting Headmistress since February 2022. "Broadening horizons - strengthening creativity - living community": Anke Kollmar feels very strongly connected to this mission statement of Helene-Lange-Gymnasium. "I want to play a key role in maintaining and developing the atmosphere of the school community."

Together with the school board, the town of Markgröningen and the district of Ludwigsburg in a joint school association, the important future topic of "digitalization" is now to be further advanced. "The school association actively supports the school and listens to its concerns," says the principal. In addition, Anke Kollmar would like to bring the award as a "cultural school" even further to life and expand the artistic profile of the Aufbaugymnasium to include a theater curriculum.

The association assembly, consisting of members of the Markgröningen municipal council and the district council, which recently met for its annual meeting in the auditorium of the Helene-Lange-Gymnasium, was pleased about the continuity in the management of the school. Association chairman Dietmar Allgaier and deputy chairman Mayor Jens Hübner congratulated the new, albeit already well-known, principal on her appointment. After a joint lunch with pupils and a tour of the school building, the meeting was ceremoniously framed by an ensemble under the direction of Corinna Liebler. Lucie Müller and Yann Fröber received special applause for their solo performances.
