July 4: Online survey with competition starts

Tomorrow is the day: the almost four-week survey on the climate protection concept and climate mobility plan in the district of Ludwigsburg starts. Participants can not only contribute their views and ideas, but also win great prizes.

The year 2024 is all about climate protection for the district of Ludwigsburg. By updating the climate protection concept and drawing up the climate mobility plan, the district of Ludwigsburg aims to drive forward climate protection locally. The development is to be supplemented by a survey of citizens. The survey will be launched on Thursday, July 4. You can take part in the online survey until July 31.

It's worth taking part, because there are great prizes to be won: €1,000 for a bicycle dealer, Germany tickets for a year, sunglasses and vouchers, for example for cooking courses, will be drawn from among the participants. Anyone who takes part in both surveys doubles their chances of winning one of the attractive prizes.

The starting signal for the online survey is a digital public launch event on July 4, 2024 from 6 to 7 p.m., at which the background and content of the two plans will be explained.

The dial-in details for the kick-off event and the survey can be found at https://www.heimspiel-fuers-klima.de/.

Effective climate protection in the district of Ludwigsburg

The aim of updating the climate protection concept is to identify new levers for effective climate protection in the district of Ludwigsburg, for example in the areas of renewable energy and heating, consumer behavior and education. Meanwhile, the climate mobility plan identifies measures in the mobility sector to reduce greenhouse gas emissions locally.

The two concepts are due to be completed in spring 2025. At the same time, the measures developed in each case will be put into practice step by step. Once the climate mobility plan has been drawn up, towns and municipalities in the district will be able to claim a "climate bonus" in the form of an increased funding rate for projects in thetransport sector.

Further information on the two concepts can be found at www.landkreis-ludwigsburg.de/klimaschutzkonzept and www.landkreis-ludwigsburg.de/klimamobilitaetsplan.
