On March 19 and 20: employees of the road maintenance department repair the railings of the Murr bridge near Marbach

On March 19 and 20, employees of the Ludwigsburg road maintenance department will be repairing two railing sections of the Murr bridge between Marbach and Murr that have been damaged in accidents. To ensure the safety of all road users and the construction process, a mobile traffic light system will be used and one lane will also be closed.

A yellow warning light is mounted on a construction barrier, which features a red and white design. In the background, lush green trees contrast with a clear blue sky, indicating an outdoor setting. The light is likely meant to alert drivers to a work zone or road obstruction.

As a mobile crane is being used, the closure is necessary. The traffic lights to the Häldenmühle entrance will be disabled during the construction period. This is to avoid a traffic jam in the construction site area. There may be temporary access restrictions for large vehicles.

The construction period is planned from Saturday, March 19, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, until Sunday, March 20, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The costs amount to around 23,000 euros. As this is accident damage with known perpetrators, the costs will be borne in full by them.

To ensure that the work can be carried out as quickly as possible, the road maintenance department has deliberately chosen a weekend for the work.

The district authority asks all road users for their understanding for any traffic obstructions.
