On September 18, 2024: Short-term closure of the B10 Vaihingen in the direction of Stuttgart

The B10 will be closed for around three hours on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 due to work on the verge next to the roadway between Hardt- und Schönbühlhof and the Glemstal viaduct.

A roadblock is featured with a red and white barrier, and a circular road sign indicating 'no entry.' There is a yellow sign pointing to the right labeled "Umleitung," which means "detour" in German. Several warning lights are positioned at the top of the barrier.
A map showing two routes: one highlighted in red and the other in blue. The red route appears to be longer, while the blue route is shorter and more direct, connecting various roadways in and around Markgröningen, Germany.

Traffic in the direction of Vaihingen a.d. Enz to Stuttgart will be diverted via the L 1138 to Markgröningen and from there via the L 1141 back onto the B10. The Stuttgart-Vaihingen direction of the B10 remains open.

On September 18, 2024, the B10 in the direction of Vaihingen-Stuttgart must be closed for three hours between 8.30 am and approx. 1.30 pm. Traffic in this direction will be diverted via the L 1138 to Markgröningen and from there via the L 1141 back onto the B10. The B10 in the direction of Stuttgart-Vaihingen will remain open.

The reason for this is work on the verge of the B10, which can only be carried out with the lane closed on one side for health and safety reasons. There may be slight obstructions for flowing traffic in the direction of Vaihingen in the area of the excavation work on the verge.

The District Office asks all road users for their understanding for the obstructions and restrictions.
