Anyone interested in looking after children under the age of three can obtain information and advice directly at the stand. Qualification as a childminder is offered free of charge by the Ludwigsburg Child Daycare Competence Center. The stand also offers valuable insights into child day care for parents who would like to find out more about this form of care.
Online information event on May 12
There will be an online information event on Wednesday, May 12 at 6.30 pm for anyone who would like to find out more from home. Further details can be found at www.tageseltern-lb.de.
Child day care in the district
In the district of Ludwigsburg, 218 childminders currently look after around 742 children (as of 01.03.2026). Up to five children can be looked after by a childminder in their own household. In a children's nest or a large day care center, up to ten children are cared for by at least two childminders. The small group size is a special quality feature of child day care, which enables close bonding and takes into account the individual needs of the children.
Information on requirements and qualifications
If you are interested in working in child day care, further information is available on the website of the Competence Center for Child Day Care at: www.tageseltern-lb.de or by telephone on 07141 144-2103.
The campaign week
The aim of the campaign week is to make child day care visible as an equal and individual care offer, to inspire people to work as a child day care provider and to support parents in their search for suitable care.
