Waste fee notices will be sent out at the end of April

Due to the problems with waste collection, waste fee notices will not be sent out by the district office until the end of April this year. However, it will still be possible to deliver waste to the recycling centers.

Following the change of waste disposal company, not everything is running as usual with waste collection in the district. Many bins were emptied late or not at all. As a result, the Ludwigsburg district office will not be sending out the waste fee notices to households at the end of February as usual, but at the end of April. "We think it makes sense to only send the people in the district fee notices when we can see more clearly how things are going with waste collection," says Dr. Christian Sußner, the responsible department head. "But one thing is clear: only those collections that have actually taken place will be included in the advance fee payments."

For people in the district, this means that the amount of the advance payments will generally be lower this year, as no empties are included in the advance payment for January and February. All empties that actually took place in these months will then be included in the advance payment for the coming year.

However, free delivery of residual bulky waste to the recycling centers in the district is still possible. The recycling center card will again only be sent out with the fee notice, i.e. at the end of April. However, the cards sent out last year will remain valid. If someone has already exhausted their volume, the materials will still be accepted free of charge at the recycling centers.
