In order to continue to guarantee road safety, the Vaihingen road maintenance department will have the section milled and a new surface course laid at short notice. A more extensive repair of the asphalt layers is being planned.
The milling work will take place on Monday, May 31. Due to the use of a mobile traffic light system, a full closure is not necessary, but obstructions and delays are to be expected. Those familiar with the area should avoid this section if possible.
As things stand at present, the surface course will be laid from June 7 under full road closure. Until then, it will be possible to drive on the milled roadway under the signposted restrictions.
The district authority asks all road users and residents for their understanding for the obstructions and restrictions caused by the renovation work.
