From February 22 and 24: Wood maintenance work on two sections of the Markgröninger Bahn

The route of the Markgröningen railroad in the district of Ludwigsburg is to be gradually cleared in compliance with species and nature conservation regulations and thus prepared for reactivation. The woodland maintenance work will begin on February 22 and 24 on two sections in Markgröningen and Möglingen.

The work is being carried out in areas that the Lower Nature Conservation Authority considers to be unproblematic from a species and nature conservation point of view. The work is also an important step towards preparing the route for reactivation from a nature conservation point of view. The measure also gives the Zweckverband Stadtbahn im Landkreis Ludwigsburg the opportunity to take a closer look at the condition of the route - for example for surveying work.

In Markgröningen, Zeppelinstraße, the work will begin on Monday, February 22, with five working days planned. In Möglingen, Daimlerstraße, work is expected to last three days from Wednesday, February 24. The Zweckverband is trying to keep the disruption to residents to a minimum and asks for the public's understanding. During the work, the "Daimlerstraße" bus stop (in the direction of the town center) for lines 508, 533 and 534 in Möglingen will be slightly relocated.
