From February 17, renovation due to subsidence in the roadway: full closure of Sersheimer Straße in Oberriexingen

Due to subsidence in the carriageway, Sersheimer Straße (K 1683) in Oberriexingen near the cemetery needs to be repaired. To this end, the roadway will be completely removed over a length of around 20 meters and the subsoil improved.

A roadblock is featured with a red and white barrier, and a circular road sign indicating 'no entry.' There is a yellow sign pointing to the right labeled "Umleitung," which means "detour" in German. Several warning lights are positioned at the top of the barrier.

This work must be carried out with a full road closure. Local traffic will be diverted from Sersheim via the L 1141 and K 1639 to Oberriexingen.

The work will begin on Wednesday, February 17. The road builders from the district office expect the work to take around four weeks.

The district administration office asks all residents and road users for their understanding for the resulting obstructions.
