From June 16: KIZ of the Ludwigsburg district will also issue QR codes for people who have already been vaccinated - appointment booking via www.kizlb.de necessary

An alternative to going to the pharmacy or waiting for the postal delivery of the QR codes by a service provider of the state for the digital vaccination certificate is available to citizens from Wednesday (16.06.21) in the district vaccination centers of the Ludwigsburg district: All fully vaccinated persons can have the QR codes for the digital vaccination certificate issued at a specially set up counter. The QR codes are then printed out directly at the vaccination center. An appointment must be booked via the link www.kizlb.de in order for the QR code for the digital vaccination certificate to be issued.

District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier (1st from right) gets the QR code for the digital vaccination card at the KIZ Ludwigsburg. Also from left: Dr. Roland Kolepke, medical director of KIZ Ludwigsburg, Andy Dorroch, district fire chief and director of KIZ Ludwigsburg, Max Maier and Madlen Maier, landlords of KIZ Ludwigsburg.

All fully vaccinated people can book an appointment via the website www.kizlb.de - regardless of where the vaccination took place. This avoids long queues. Anyone who has an appointment comes to the entrance to the KIZ Ludwigsburg (Grönerstraße 33) and is referred directly to a counter where the QR codes are generated in connection with the EU Covid-19 vaccination certificate. Important: An identity card, vaccination certificate and, if available, the insurance card are required for processing. The appointment booking page will be activated during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. The counter is open from Monday to Sunday, from 08:00 to 20:00.

"I am delighted that our district vaccination centers are among the very few KIZs in the country that offer the QR code for the digital vaccination card. This is a good service for our citizens," says District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier. Dr. Roland Kolepke, who is the medical director of the KIZ, adds: "We have looked after and cared for our visitors throughout the entire vaccination process, which is why it is a logical consequence that we also want to generate the QR codes for those who have already been vaccinated."

In cooperation with the owner of MM Studios Max Maier and the medical care center Dr. Kolepke and colleagues, both the personnel and the logistical requirements for the service were created in the KIZ of the Ludwigsburg district. All those involved see it as a logical consequence to continue to look after people who have already been vaccinated and to issue them with a digital vaccination certificate.
