From February 12, the district road 1673 (Poppenweiler Straße) in Remseck-Hochdorf will be fully closed between Lembergstraße and Lerchenweg. The reason for this is the renovation work on Poppenweiler Straße, which began last year and is now being continued and completed by the district administration's road construction team. Where necessary, they are completely removing the existing asphalt layers or only renewing the asphalt surface course. The water pipes and sidewalk are also being renovated on behalf of the town of Remseck. Preparatory work is currently being carried out on the existing water pipe network in the area of the Lembergstraße / Karlstraße hydrant shaft.

The supra-local detour between Hochdorf and Poppenweiler is signposted via Hochberg. Local traffic to the residential area is still possible without restriction via Lembergstraße and Lerchenweg.

Public and school bus services will be affected by the construction work. Passengers should inform themselves about possible timetable changes.

Construction work is scheduled to begin on February 12. The work is scheduled to take four weeks. The district has allocated around 400,000 euros for the entire project.

The district administration asks all road users and residents for their understanding for the disruptions and restrictions.
