From Tuesday, April 11, the L 1110 between the new traffic circle in the north of Tamm and the junction to the Tamm industrial estate "Bietigheimer Straße" will be fully closed for two weeks: The existing asphalt layers will be completely removed, renewed and reinforced on this section of the L 1110. A local detour will not be set up for this short period. During this period, the industrial estate will only be accessible from the north.
The work on the L 1110 is necessary because the K 1671 between Porschekreuzung / B 27 and Fritz-Lieken-Straße will be fully closed immediately after the renovation work from April 24 until the start of the summer vacations. The section on the L 1110 will be used as a detour route. For the duration of the full closure of the K 1671, a supra-local detour will be signposted, also for cycle traffic.
During the full closure, a second lane will be added to the district road 1671 between the Porsche junction and the junction with Fritz-Lieken-Straße in the direction of Grotztunnel. On the one hand, this should improve the flow of traffic in this direction; on the other hand, the current traffic routing, in which the right-hand of the two left-hand turning lanes from the B27 leads back into the Laiern industrial estate (Porschestr.) immediately after the junction with the B27, creates more dangerous situations. This is to be alleviated by the continuation of both straight ahead lanes at the junction with Porschestrasse and the creation of an additional turning lane.
In the direction of the A81 freeway junction Ludwigsburg-Nord, a new merging lane will be created on the B27 coming from the K 1671. In the direction of Bietigheim, the turning lanes from the B27 into the K 1671 will also be renewed and constructed as a concrete carriageway. The renovation work on the B 27 is being carried out in several construction phases.
From April 11, traffic management measures in the form of night-time construction sites will be set up for the construction of central reservation crossings on the B 27 during the construction period of the K 1671.
The district has allocated around 2.5 million euros from the district road construction program for the work. The district authority asks all road users for their understanding for any traffic obstructions, especially in the detour area.
