Whether in a main course, as a spread, or baked into muffins—there are many ways to prepare legumes and use them to expand the menu.

Expressive sandplay offers refugee children a space to process traumatic experiences. The goal is to activate the children’s innate psychological healing abilities and strengthen their resilience. Each support person is assigned to one child for the entire duration of the project. About ten children between the ages of 6 and 13 participate in each project cycle. A cycle consists of eleven to twelve weekly sessions.

Following the successful kickoff event in May, the second meeting of the county-wide Energy & Climate business network is now taking place. The event is hosted by the W&W Group, which will offer insights into its sustainability initiatives on July 28 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.—and they’re quite impressive. A guided tour will also give attendees the chance to experience the W&W Campus, which opened in 2023: 14 buildings connected by a single passageway, modern offices, a conference center, creative spaces, a restaurant, a café, and sports and recreational facilities—all awarded the highest DGNB certification.
