Transparent production: farm tour on May 14 in Hemmingen: Where you can visit the barn and biogas plant

What does it look like in a barn? How does a biogas plant work? Interested consumers can get answers to questions like these on Sunday, May 14, when H+B Seehof GbR opens its doors as part of the "Transparent Production" state campaign.

A group of pigs relaxes together on a bed of straw in a barn. The pigs vary in color, with some being pink and others black with spots. They appear peaceful and comfortable in their cozy environment.

H+B Seehof GbR operates a pig fattening farm at husbandry level 4 and is part of the "Edeka Hofglück" program. The biogas plant with district heating network completes the operation. In direct contact with the producers of local products, visitors can take part in guided tours of the farm in the barn and through the biogas plant. Visitors young and old can also enjoy a small exhibition of machinery, pony rides, refreshments and ice cream.

The event will take place on Sunday, May 14, from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm. The farm is located at Seehof 2 in 71282 Hemmingen.
