From March 1: Daniel Meyer new Head of the Schools and Culture Department

The new head of the District Office's Schools and Culture Department will be Daniel Meyer from March 1. He succeeds Cynthia Schönau.

The 31-year-old is a civil servant (Bachelor of Arts - Public Management) and lives in Freiberg am Neckar. After completing his studies at the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration and Finance in Ludwigsburg, he worked for six years at the Baden-Württemberg State Office for the Protection of the Constitution in the areas of communication and organization and in extremism prevention. At the beginning of 2017, he moved to the Heilbronn District Office, where he heads the Migration and Integration Department. From 2013 to 2016, Meyer completed a Master's degree course for managers in public administration (Master of Arts - Public Management), also in Ludwigsburg, while working. He continues to be involved in the prevention of extremism on a part-time basis.
