Health reporting is a central component of the public health service and is regulated in the Public Health Service Act (ÖGDG).
The GBE works closely with health planning and health promotion and analyzes the health situation and care in the district. The aim is to identify developments, risks, deficits and needs and to derive a basis for planning care, prevention and health promotion. The results are incorporated into the district's annual municipal health conference and support assessments and decisions. The health reporting serves to inform all citizens as well as experts.
For the reports, data from health monitoring, epidemiological studies, official statistics and our own surveys are evaluated and summarized in thematic reports.
