3rd day of the municipal climate forum at the Ludwigsburg district office

Final day and participation in the climate protection concept on March 8, 2024

On the third day in particular, we are opening up the Climate Forum to the wider community and inviting associations, initiatives and people from organized and non-organized civil society. The event will conclude with a joint lunch. Various discussion events are being prepared for networking and participation - stay tuned!

We will round off the "Partnerships for Climate Action " forum with the question of how we can move from knowledge to action together and look ahead to the next steps in the district.

The schedule in detail:

  • 9:00 a.m.: Admission and arrival of participants
  • 9:30 a.m.: Opening of Day 3 of the Climate Forum
    • Dietmar Allgaier, District Administrator of Ludwigsburg, interview on the results of the forum so far
  • 9:50 a.m.: From knowledge to action - using the example of the Climate Heads project
    • Keynote: Prof. Dr. Maike Sippel Professor of Sustainable Economics HTWG Konstanz
    • TheKlimaköpfe project tells stories of taking action. Changes for a sustainable future are already taking place among us, on a large and small scale.
  • 10:20 a.m.: Tackling the transformation on the ground - focus on the district
    • The key role of local authorities
      Dr. Sabine Hafner, Director of KlimaKom
    • What does this mean for the district of Ludwigsburg? How do we tackle it?
      Interview with Anselm Laube, Managing Director of the Ludwigsburg District Energy Agency and Julia Neuhäuser, Head of the Climate Protection Department at Ludwigsburg District Office
  • 11:00 a.m.: Coffee break
  • 11:20 a.m.: Local responses to the global crisis - impulses from volunteering, education and administration

Mobility

We are aiming for certification as a climate-friendly event and as a Green Event BW. To this end, we are committed to implementing certain measures. Air travel within Germany to the event venue is not permitted on this basis. In order to balance and compensate for the emissions caused, we need information about your journey. If you are traveling by plane from abroad, please indicate the distance as the crow flies.

Do you need a parking space at the venue?

Consent to the publication of photo and film recordings

Professional photographs will be taken during the event by commissioned photographers. The photographs will be published for the purpose of reporting on the event on the website of the Ludwigsburg District Office and, if applicable, in print materials and on social media.

I consent to photos in which I can be seen in combination with my name badge, if applicable, being published online and in print materials for this purpose. Insofar as my photo contains references to my ethnic origin, religion or health (e.g. skin color, headgear, glasses), my consent also applies to this information. I am aware that digital images, videos and audio files from the internet can be copied, used in other ways and also modified without those responsible having any knowledge or influence over this.

Cancellation policy:
This consent is voluntary, but participation in the event is not possible without consent. You can also revoke it at any time (by e-mail to climate@landkreis-ludwigsburg.de or by post). Photos in which you are recognizable and which essentially show you will then be removed immediately from the website of the District Office.

Information on data protection

The Ludwigsburg District Office will only process the data collected during registration for the organization and implementation of the event. In some cases, we use external service providers to process your data. These service providers have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions and are regularly monitored. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.

You can request information, correction, deletion or restricted processing of your data, object to the processing or assert your right to data portability (by e-mail to climate@landkreis-ludwigsburg.de or by post) in accordance with the legal requirements.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) and b) GDPR. You also have the right to lodge a complaint about this data processing with the competent data protection supervisory authority.
