The Waste Recycling Corporation of the County of Ludwigsburg mbH (AVL) was founded on 1 July 1989 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the county of Ludwigsburg.
The AVL is commissioned with performing the tasks of minimising, recycling and disposing of waste on behalf of the county of Ludwigsburg.
Functions of the AVL
The AVL has the following functions:
- Organising the collection of the various waste and recyclable material groups
- Advice on waste as well as public relations work on waste avoidance and waste collection
- Operating the landfills of the county of Ludwigsburg.
- Updating the waste management concept for adoption by the county council
- Informing the county council on the progress of the concept's implementation
- Informing the county council on the progress of the concept's implementation
