The county council represents local citizens and is the main governing body of the county. It sets out the fundamental principles for the administration of the county and decides on all matters concerning the county, excepting in cases where the president is legally responsible or in which the county council has delegated the matter to the president. The county council supervises the implementation of its resolutions and ensures the remedy of any deficiencies in the administration of the county.
