From January 2020 Dietmar Allgaier is the President.
He is the legal representative of the county of Ludwigsburg, Chairman of the County Council and head of the administration of the County District Office, including the state lower administrative authorities.
The term of office is eight years. In November 2020, the County Council elected Dietmar Allgaier.
He prepares the meetings of the County Council and its committees and implements their resolutions. ThePresident informs the County Council of all important matters concerning the county and the administration.
He is responsible for the day-to-day management of business, and for any tasks that have been transferred to it by law or by main statute by the County Council.
