The Medical Advisory Board (MGS) carries out official medical examinations and issues certificates and expert opinions on the basis of statutory and administrative regulations. It also has judicial medical duties.
In accordance with § 14 of the Act on the Public Health Service (ÖGDG), which came into force on 01.01.2016, a medical advisory board office for the administrative district of Stuttgart (excepting the city districts of Stuttgart and Heilbronn) was set up at the Ludiwgsburg health office. We carry out all central examinations and statements in the civil service law (ability to serve, accidents at work and questions of support) for the administrative district of Stuttgart (i.e. also for the districts and municipalities).
