The climate crisis is a major global challenge of our time. For this reason, Ludwigsburg County considers it its duty to work for active climate protection with the help of various actors and, true to the motto "Think globally, act locally", to contribute to securing a future worth living in.

The climate crisis is a major global challenge of our time.

The implementation of the integrated climate protection concept is of central importance. In order to live up to the exemplary role of the public sector, measures are also being taken together with all departments and employees to achieve a climate-neutral municipal administration.

The area of "mobility" is a key element of this.

The area of "Mobility" deals with the question of how the mobility turnaround can be achieved. This includes topics such as "operational or official mobility management", electric mobility/charging infrastructure or the creation of a climate mobility plan for Ludwigsburg County.

For more information on climate protection and sustainable mobility in the district, see here.

The district of Ludwigsburg has a unique cultural landscape of terraced vineyards along the Neckar and Enz rivers, a particular trademark. The elaborate cultivation faces great challenges. The department 21 has with the tasks Tourism and office Verein Regionalentwicklung Neckarschleifen e.V. (Link) the possibility to contribute to the preservation of the steep vineyards.
