State-approved higher education college of the Evangelical State Church in Württemberg with headquarters in Ludwigsburg
The Evangelical College Ludwigsburg prepares students on a social-scientific and theological basis for professional activities in the fields of social work, social pedagogy and religious pedagogy as well as for the professional practice of community social work, community social welfare work, child and youth work, and Protestant religious education through application-oriented teaching. The college offers diploma courses in social work, social pedagogy, social welfare work and religious pedagogy with a two-semester supplementary course in social pedagogy.

The College of Public Administration and Finance was founded on 1 September 1999 through the merger of the two former colleges for public administration (HöV) and for finance (FHF).
At the college, prospective civil servants in the senior service choose from four bachelor degree programmes (public management [internal administration], pension insurance, general financial administration, tax administration). The bachelor programmes are sometimes preceded and followed by internships of different lengths.
The master programmes European Public Administration (M.A.) and Public Management (M.A.) qualify students for senior service.

The Baden-Württemberg Film Academy is one of the most renowned German film academies and enjoys an excellent international reputation. It offers diploma courses as a four-year full-time course (8 semesters), which is divided into a two-year basic course and a two-year project course. Currently (2011) there are about 500 students enrolled in 14 courses of study. Founded in 1991, the Film Academy is organised in the legal form of a non-profit limited liability company. Since 1997 it has been financed through the Baden-Württemberg budget. The object of the company is project-related education, research and development in the field of film design and film and media production.

The Academy for Performing Arts Baden-Württemberg is a state drama college founded in 2007 on a joint campus with the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg. An interdisciplinary training as an actor, director or dramaturge is offered, which closely links theatre and film. About 20 students are admitted per year.

The Ludwigsburg College of Education appreciates your interest! The college has over 5,500 students, who are supervised by 450 employees at the Ludwigsburg and Reutlingen locations. In addition to training teachers for primary and secondary schools, secondary colleges and special schools, it offers diploma and master degree courses.
